The research activities carried out at the CRB, a multi-disciplinary centre of excellence in numerous chemical and physical scientific disciplines, cover a very diverse range of products and applications, both in the civil and military sectors:
The synthesis of new molecules with, in particular, the development of appropriate synthesis processes
The formulation of new materials and their associated development and production processes
The characterisation of the operational and accidental behaviour of materials, including their behaviour in their final systems of use: rocket engines, barrelled weapons, warheads, gas generators for automobile safety, etc ...
