Like GROUPE SNPE's essential values, health,
security and environment are a priority for SNPE Matériaux
Energétiques. They represent a real progress opportunity
for our activities in view of continuous improvement. They are an
integral part of SNPE Matériaux Energétiques
development.
Our commitment concerns the high level of standard in exercising our specialties. It reflects our ability to provide our customers and partners with solutions, supported by research and innovation, while respecting applicable regulatory Hygiene, Safety and Environment requirements.
We implement Hygiene, Safety and Environment Management Systems adapted to each of our specialties. Information, training, dialog and experience feedback are a basis to involve all the personnel, aware of their responsibilities and motivated, in these systems. Therefore, each person is well aware of his role concerning health preservation, accident prevention and environmental considerations.
Seven SNPE Matériaux Energétiques sites have their Environmental Management System ISO 14001 certified, which shows a voluntarist improvement approach implemented for several years. Related action plans lead to a reduction in the use of energy and natural resources and to limiting effluent and waste discharge for all industrial activities.
SNPE Matériaux Energétiques is willing
to develop environment friendly products and techniques, often through
partnerships.
Associated with EADS Astrium ST, Snecma Propulsion Solide, ROXEL and
CAEPE testing center as contributor for industrialists, SNPE
Matériaux Energétiques participates in the
P2P « Plateforme Propulsion Propre » (Clean
propulsion platform) structuring project labeled by the Aerospace
Valley competitiveness pole. Complying with a global environmental
approach, this project provides for the set-up of a clean destruction
and test stand for defensive missile solid rocket motors as well as
airbag gas generators. SNPE Matériaux Energétiques
will take on the responsibility of processing energetic materials
related to these civilian and military applications, notably using
its patented "biological treatment" technology
that meets environmental requirements.
