SNPE Matériaux Energétiques: Presentation

SNPE Matériaux Energétiques designs, develops and produces propelling charges and energetic equipment for the defense and aeronautical, space and automotive industries, explosives and propellants for military use, and strategic energetic raw materials related to these applications.
Its know-how in energetic materials is unique in Europe and relies on its Research Center and expertise in the field of safety and environment.

SNPE Matériaux Energétiques is present in the following fields:

Strategic Propulsion, by ensuring the development and industrialization of missile M51 warheads, and gas generators present in deterrence systems,
Space Propulsion, by meeting space requirements from the production of small solid propellant charges to the development of the two powerful solid rocket motors for Ariane 5 or the production of essential raw materials such as Ammonium Perchlorate or MonoMethyl Hydrazine (MMH),
Automotive Safety, sector for which SNPE Matériaux Energétiques designs, develops and produces energetic components for gas generators used for airbag deployment and seat belt tensioning,
